Graduate Program Thesis Requirements The LTWR Master's degree requires a scholarly thesis of 50-80 pages that represents a carefully developed argument. LTWR Theses are orally defended in a public forum near the end of the semester. Each year, the Department, in conjunction with the Grad Student Representatives, organizes a Thesis workshop to help prepare students for thesis work. Please see the Grad Handbook for more detailed information regarding the Thesis Proposal and how to form your Thesis Committee.
NB: When you are approaching the thesis defense, contact Maria Valko, the Department's Academic Coordinator, for assistance in preparing official pages that must be inserted into the document before submission to the library. These must be done exactly to University specifications or the library will not accept the thesis. Thesis Workshop Documents:
