Steps to Applying for Admission
California State University San Marcos welcomes all CSU -eligible first-time freshmen and upperdivision (60 or more semester units) transfer applicants. In addition, students pursuing second bachelor’s degrees in nursing, mathematics, and science-related majors are encouraged to apply.
- Visit www.CSUMentor.edu, California State University’s comprehensive Web site. Here, you can find information and resources and fill out an online application.
- Submit a non-refundable application processing fee of $55. This is required for each campus to which you apply. The application fee may be waived if you are a California resident from a low-income family for whom the application fee would result in an undue financial hardship. The fee waiver is available online using CSUMentor.
