Masters in Education General Option program allows the MA student to customize their experience through choosing courses that meet their individual needs.  In the General Option in Education, students must complete the following requirements:   the core coursework (9 units), which includes a multicultural education course (EDUC 602 or EDAD 610), a research methods course (EDUC 622) and a culminating experience course (EDUC 698); and 21 units of 600-level elective courses selected to best suit student interests and goals, and successful completion of a culminating experience.  You are required to complete English Learner competencies (e.g. SB2042 credential, B/CLAD emphasis, CLAD certificate and English Learner Emphasis) as part of the MA in Education.
