These accent codes should work on any IBM-compatible PC. There is another way to insert these characters into your documents called "dead key remapping." However, the codes given below are the most "portable" - meaning you can sit down at any PC and use them.

ACCENTS FOR THE PC

The following information contains the ASCII codes for some of the symbols and letters not found on a regular keyboard. Remember, you must always hold down the "Alt" key while typing in the numbers, and then release the "Alt" key, and the letter or symbol will appear. Also, you must use the numbers located in the 10-key keyboard on the right hand side of the larger part of the keyboard, and have the "Number Lock" key set. The
