ADA Reasonable Accommodation

  
Definition:
The University will ensure that reasonable accommodation which enables a qualified individual with a disablility to engage in an equal employment opportunity will be provided whenever practicable. Reasonable accommodation is any effective modification or adjustment to a job, the work environment, and/or an employment practice, that accommodates a qualified individual with a disability to perform a job or apply for a job, without causeing undue financial hardship on the institution. This includes requests for resonable accommodation during the recruitment/selection process as well as during the period of employment.
Scope:
This procedure and related policy apply to all areas of the University in all aspects of employment.
